Chris Attard first came to Skye United in the early 1980s back in the days when we were known as Carrum United Soccer Club.

He was an integral part of the club and filled many roles during his time at Skye including player, coach, Miniroos Coordinator, Council Liaison, Treasurer, Club President and finally Advisor when he became ill. Chris was also former FFV Chief Financial Officer.

Chris lost his 2 year battle with cancer in 2016.

Each year in July, Skye United holds a special memorial round in Chris's honour. Our miniroos are invited along as mascots to walk our senior players onto the pitch and we observe a minutes silence as a mark of respect.
